In 1645 Atelierul lui Rembrandt van Rijn painted the work of art. The original creation had the size: 40 3/8 × 33 1/2 in (102,5 × 85,1 cm) and was painted on the medium ulei pe panza. "Inscribed bottom center on door: Rembrandt f. 1645" is the artpiece's inscription. Nowadays, this work of art is included in the Art Institute Chicago's colecție digitală.
